Whoa! They've got some sense at last?

This just came in over SMS :

Dear Customer, we request your consent to send u info on our services & special offers. If you do not wish to receive these alerts, send sms NO to 4321 by Mar.4

Hehe. How nice of them. BTW, I'm on Airtel.

So what happens if you do not send that "NO"? You are automatically subscribed to the alerts? If you do send the "NO"(which most people will), you are billed for the SMS.

Shouldn't it have been, If you wish to receive these alerts, send sms YES to 4321 by Mar.4

Airtel was too much junk sms. I hated that!!!
