Congratulations, again! Kimi did it in great style, totally in contrast with the high drama at McLaren. I just hope the Mercedes-Benz management does something about the team they race with.

Don't know if it's their thing to do? The inter-driver rivalry certainly didn't help I guess...

Who seeded the inter-driver rivalry? The drivers did their job well, which is driving fast and winning races, as much as they can.

I feel sad for Lewis!

My Scarlett blood has been changing color lately!

Haha. Yeah. But then, I think Alonso messed up quite a bit of Lewis's race when he brake tested him into turn 4 during Lap 1. And then Lewis was overcharged up and banged his car into a few kerbs trying to catch up, lost his gears long enough to drop to 18th place. I would have felt sad for him...but this is fair and square and he did pretty rookie-ish things after he lost the place to Alonso. Had he just stuck there, he would have won.

All said and done, I'm a true Tifosi :p so hahah Kimi 0wnz ;)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I almost was in tears when I read the news. Couldn't watch the race because Amreeka doesn't broadcast F1.

Yeah. I wanted to call up and then we caught each other online.

So happy for you dude, finally!!! Kimiiiiiiiiiii!!!

I wanted to call you up too but I didn't have access to an ISD capable phone in the middle of the night. Apparently you were outdoors when this happened so couldn't IM either.

Yay, awesome race.
Poor Hammy though, I think McLaren messed up the stop strategy for him. Alonso seemed quite happy to have Kimi take the championship rather than Hamilton.

Yaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy :D

I was jumping around and my dad is like what the hell is wrong with you? Did you win the championship :D

And I was so freaked when I read that BMW and Williams might be disqualified. Thankfully I only read about it today morning after the stewards had given their decision :D Phew...

Yeah. It's not over yet actually, McLaren are going to appeal.

Mcl can go and lick alonsos if they like.
[info]fox2mike wrote:

Well, they are appealing. Such whiners. Accept what happened and move on instead of winning the title off the track.

If an appeal would get LH his championship, then, who carez;)

Yeah, become bigger cheaters :p First get Ferrari info and then go crying to the FIA for the championship ;)

Yeah right. If Ferrari has the people who wana go and sell their own stuff, then, there would be obviously be people who would buy it. Anyhow, just because 1 person had the info doesn't mean the team is to blame.

Btw, if Ferrari were in a similar situation, they would've done the same. Mclaren didnt go and steal anything. Appeal is a legal recourse and they are following it.

Fantastic race it was. And the Ferrari crew singing the anthem man that must have brought tears of joy in Italy.

Wonder who that attractive female member was?

Maybe someone from PR;-) She didn't look like a mechanic;-)

LOL. Doesn't matter. If she's a mech, woohoo, one hell of a mech ;)

Btw, look at Shell's Manager for Ferrari this year, cute babe called Lisa Lilly IIRC. She was at all the races and was in-charge of the fuel mixtures Ferrari used in their cars :D

Hahah :)

She's Shell's F1 Technology Manager...what a job. She gets to be with the team all year long, and on all tracks.

And yes, AMAZING race! I managed to keep my room-mate up as well (I've turned him into a semi F1 fan, he was supporting McLaren of course :p)

I was ecstatic! Wooohooo finally Kimi breaks the jinx!

I should watch one of these races sometime. I'm trying to turn everything into a stand-up routine these days.
