Internet Programming Lab, CS76L

There's always a first time in life for everything. For the first time, we had the same external for both the labs. For the first time the external was a total dud (note the total). For the first time we were asked *nothing* by the external & for the first time we had no pre-exam "How is the external going to be" jitters.

We drew the match... proved a few points but not enough to make Ponting, Hayden & the likes Shut up.

DIAS was down again today for a while, some upgradation work at Ulsoor. I slept from 1730 to 2040 so I'm not feeling sleepy...

Guess, you are not qualified enough to say that. But be careful, whatever you said might one day come back to bite you. You are not Knuth, you know and neither are you Bill Gates nor RMS. :)

Well I may not be qualified enough to say it, but then you're no better off posting anonymously :)

And besides...
...you guessed wrong.

And the judgement is unanimous. Even our lecturers would agree.

Well, it's his journal and he can write anything. Freedom of speech and expression is our fundamental right. :)

Anyway...
...who wants to be any of these guys? Knuth maybe, but Bill Gates is a dope, and RMS is a nut.

Re: Anyway...
If u have to make a point, have the guts to post it along with ur name, rather than just talking behind someone.
When u dont have that much courage, dont even bother telling others, about whom they should comment and whom they shouldn't.
If u think Bill Gates is great u can ask him to market even u just like Windows.

Well, there are certain things a person should learn. Such things should be best kept anonymous.

When u dont have that much courage, dont even bother telling others, about whom they should comment and whom they shouldn't.

If our dear friend fox2mike had such a view on the external, he should have said so to the external too. That would be guts! Using LJ == hiding behind someone too. You too dude.

And ... Of course Bill Gates is great, there's no doubt about it.

Re: Anyway...
a) There's a difference between guts & foolishness, you don't seem to know the difference.

b) You don't even know anything about me, or what sort of a person I am. Although you're trying to make a kinda valid point, nothing short of the man showing up & demonstrating his knowledge will make me change my opinion on him.

c) If you see what we've seen the last 2 years, you'd see the "why". I've learned a few things.. there are 2 classes of teachers. The excellent ones & the ones who don't know to teach. I shall always respect the excellent ones, coz everything in them makes me do so. There are ones who being in the Dept of Comp. Sci don't know the difference between copy & move & for such people I don't care. They don't deserve to be called teachers & paid for screwing up student's lives.

d) Your anonymity does not help push what your trying to say.

e) Bill Gates maybe great, & no I'm not Bill Gates. But If I ever teach someone, I'll do it perfectly & not say "I don't know the difference between Copy & Move, its not there in the textbook".
