Aptitude Test

My PL at Sify asked us to take up an Aptitude test sometime next week & "clear" it if we'd like a job. So here I am again, faced with an aptitude test for a technical job. Yeah right, you have to know Math & Logic to work/become successful in the Comp Sci industry. Gaaaah. Sucks.

So far I've sucked in Aptitude tests (or were they Analytical + Aptitude??). Spent the entire day bitching about the fact that I'd have to write a test to even stand a chance for a job here. Ah well, let's see how this one goes.

All tests and all interviews are very dicey. There's just so much luck involved. If you don't get a job, it wasn't good enough for you. Really.

Anyway, all the best! (And all the best to Sify, too: they may not get the opportunity to work with you again.)

right now i'm wishing i'd taken my statistics classes more seriously, because I just found a need for those skills.

Didn't have much of stats, but I've always been wishing I'd taken the effort to learn Permutations & Combinations. Darn thing just keeps screwing me up everywhere.

Re: Aptitude skills!
Welcome to club of puzzles haters!

I have been ranting about my poor skills here and here. Better read hagarth's comments and the superb article fro which he has given a link here.
