As for the race, I think BAR is really gelling together as a wonderful unit. I really feel sad for Jacques who gave quite a lot to the team & he's not around when they're getting some sexy performance from that car. Renault's putting up consistent performances too & if Alonso can keep his nerves a little longer, he'll do fine ;)
Ferrari just showed why they're the current world champs. Schumacher did that simply superb qualifying lap to get P1 & today they were just flying all over the place, no one was able to catch them. As for Willams, seemed Montoya had some serious problems with his car near the end of the race. McLaren need something done & fast. Kimi's car beat all firework displays I've seen & blew up in spectacular fashion. I'm seriously feeling bad for him now, not finishing a single race out of the first 3 ain't fun at all. "Sucker" pulled into the pits too & Sato showed some top class driving when he effortlessly overtook "Sucker". Ralf should be kicked hard for rash driving. The way he messed with Sato was dumb & looked very very desperate. Somewhat similar to how Montoya took Rubeno out at Indianapolis last year. Also, Bridgestone seem to be doing well only with Ferrari. They supply tyres to just 3 teams out of the 10 & apart from Ferrari, both in the qualifying & the race the rest of the sheet shows Michelin. Wonder if Bridgestone have a future in F1 if Ferrari decides to switch.
I'm now running Gnome 2.6 & no great noticeable improvements as such. The splash screen on start-up is Gentoo customized, so looks a little more cooler & for those interested, here is a list of major changes in 2.6 over 2.4
Nice weekend, off to Sify tomorrow ;)
