Formula 1 Magyar Nagydij 2004

Constructors' Championship secured with 5 races to go :) What a brilliant performance by Ferrari as a team, for the 7th 1-2 finish of the season. What's more is that from this point on, only a Ferrari Driver can win the world championships this year (unless of course something out of the ordinary happens...)

I've stopped pointing out how disappointing McLaren's performances are lol, Just got bored of doing that over & over ;) Software screwed up Kimi's car they say....bah!

That Steve Slater is a bloody idiot! It was an electrical problem with dear Kimi's car! McLaren use Java for their control systems, AFAIK! :)

Steve Slater tries to do a Murray Walker with his stupid jokes/mistakes. Little does he know that Murrayisms were subtle, and he used to play on works, not make BLATANT MISTAKES like Steve Slater does. At one point in the race, he said, "Antonio Pizzonia of *Jaguar*..." - UGH!

LOL. Yeah he does make mistakes. Pizzonia did drive for Jaguar...but that was a while back ;)

And who is Murray Walker? :D

Murray Walker was a very famous commentator on UK's ITV. He's retired now, but writes for F1-Racing magazine. Martin Brundle, Michael Schumacher's former team-mate, has now taken his place on ITV.

One of his classic Murrayisms goes, "Are my eyes deceiving me, or is that engine sounding really different!"

Remember the bad (good?) old days when Schumacher had the lesser car. Whenever Schumacher used to put in a fast lap wether it was near the end of the race with no hope, Murray Walker used to work himself into a frenzy.

"7 laps to go and Schumacher has just put pulled back the lead by a second, is this one of the great drives... blah blah blah... Hakkinen is only 29 seconds in the lead, can Schumi do it ...."

He did that everytime!

That apart the Murray Walker + Martin Brundle Team was really cool when Star used to show take the ITV coverage. After Star discontinued it I
even watched the coverage on DD the year they picked up the ITV feed. The ITV commentary more than made up for DD's bad picture quality
